micro::station for drinking water

The s::can drinking water micro::station is designed for online monitoring of water quality parameters in clean media. The required components – spectro::lyser, s::can probes, and controller – are factory assembled with all required flow cells, mounting fittings, and pipework on a compact panel.

The fully modular micro::station combines s::can instruments into a compact and versatile system. It presents a complete solution, as the user only has to connect the water supply and -discharge (“plug & measure”) to receive a previously unheard variety of immediately available information and parameters at no extra cost.

micro::station – the s::can measuring station makes comprehensive water quality monitoring easier than ever before!

  • Integrated & Compact: Pre-assembled panel with sensors, flow cells, and piping; plug & measure installation.
  • Multiparameter Monitoring: Measures UV254, TOC, turbidity, color, pH, chlorine, temperature, pressure, etc., without chemicals or bypasses.
  • Real-Time Data: Continuous, instant readings for proactive operational control.
  • Smart Integration: Connects to BEACON platform for flow and pressure data correlation.
  • Early Anomaly Detection: Identifies contamination, pressure transients, and quality changes quickly.
  • Modular & Versatile: Deployable across the distribution network, including remote sites.
  • Treatment Plant Monitoring: Continuous tracking of water quality to verify disinfection and filtration.
  • Distribution Network: Real-time pipe monitoring for rapid response to changes or contamination.
  • Source Water Protection: Monitors raw water quality to track influent variations.
  • Process Control: Immediate feedback on ORP, pH, chlorine to optimize chemical dosing.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Provides continuous data and alerts to meet public health standards.
  • Design: Modular, easy installation—just connect water supply and discharge.
  • Parameters Monitored (examples): Ammonium, Chlorine Dioxide, Color, Conductivity, DO, Dissolved Ozone, DOC, Fluoride, Free/Total Chlorine, Hydrogen Peroxide, Nitrite/Nitrate, ORP, PAA, pH, Potassium, Pressure (optional), Temperature, TOC, Turbidity, UV254.
  • Monitoring Method: Uses digital sensors and UV-Vis spectrometry; many parameters measured without chemicals.
  • Continuous Monitoring: Real-time data collection for early detection of contaminants and water quality changes.
