DISCHARGE RADAR RQ-30 ADMS

WELL-PROVEN RQ-30 DISCHARGE MEASUREMENT WITH DATA LOGGER AND DATA TRANSMISSION IN COMPACT HOUSING

The RQ-30 ADMS is an all-in-one discharge measurement System. It contains the non-contact flow velocity and water level sensors of the RQ-30 and applies the same algorithms and model to calculate the discharge in the RQ-30 sensor.

The rechargeable batteries allow autonomous operation for several months and the integrated charge controller provides for an easy connection to a solar panel.  The integrated data logger of the RQ-30 ADMS offers wireless 2-way data communication. The 2-way communication makes it possible to remotely access the sensor and data logger anytime from anywhere.

Notifications by E-mail and SMS are a standard feature of the RQ-30 ADMS. Optionally, the RQ-30 ADMS can be equipped with a SOMMER Time lapse camera for visual surveillance of the monitoring site.

  • Non-Contact Measurement: Radar-based velocity and water level measurement from above the surface—avoids in-stream sensors, reducing debris damage and maintenance.
  • All-in-One Design: Integrates water level and velocity sensors, data logger (MRL-7/8), and communication modem in a compact, IP66-rated, vandal-resistant aluminum housing.
  • Autonomous Operation: Rechargeable 24 Ah/12 V batteries with integrated charge controller; can also connect to a solar panel for continuous power.
  • Wireless Data Transmission: 2-way communication via 2G/3G/4G for remote access, configuration, and data retrieval.
  • Data Logging & Alarms: Internal flash memory and SD card for extensive storage; alerts via email or SMS when user-defined limits are exceeded.
  • Advanced Calculation: Discharge calculated using dynamic hydraulic models and cross-sectional profiles to derive mean velocity from surface velocity.
  • AI & Diagnostics: Machine learning for environmental compensation, early error detection, and advanced velocity diagnostics including spectrum display.
  • Optional Camera: Can include a SOMMER time-lapse camera for visual site monitoring.
  • Hydrology & Environmental Monitoring: Supports long-term studies, flood forecasting, and regulatory reporting.
  • Irrigation & Water Management: Monitors flow rates for efficient distribution in canals and channels.
  • Flood Surveillance: Reliable, maintenance-free, flood-proof monitoring during high-water events.
  • Spot Measurements: Suitable for temporary flow assessments at specific times.
