M4000 Electromagnetic Flow Meter

M4000 Electromagnetic Flowmeter

The innovative design of the Badger Meter® ModMAG® M4000 meter represents the next generation of electromagnetic flow meter technology. Incorporating the latest developments in microprocessing signal conditioning, the advanced design of the M4000 meter allows an accuracy of ± 0.20% with a flow range of 300:1. Targeted to a variety of oil and gas, industrial and municipal applications, the M4000 meter is virtually unaffected by density, temperature, pressure, and viscosity changes and provides an
accurate and reliable long term metering solution. This meter complies with ANSI/NSF Standard 61, Annex G.

APPLICATION

The M4000 meter is suited for use in applications where the indication of rate and totalization is required. The ability to display flow parameters locally at the flow meter, or remotely by mounting the amplifier up to 100 feet away from the detector, provides a versatile solution for most industrial and municipal flow applications. Whether the fluid is water or something highly corrosive, very viscous, contains a moderate amount of solids, or requires special handling, the meter is able to accurately measure it. Housed in Class 1, Division 1, NEMA 4X (IP66) enclosure, the M4000 design has been tested and approved by Factory Mutual (FM) in the United States and the Canadian Standards Association (CSA international) in Canada.

Exact Dual Rotor Turbine Flow Meter

Exact Dual Rotor Turbine Flowmeter

The Cox Exact Dual Rotor Turbine Flow Meter is the pinnacle of turbine meter technology that delivers results not attainable with single rotor designs. The Exact meter’s hydraulically coupled helical dual rotor design provides exceptional performance and many unparalleled benefits. The dual rotor design extends the flow measurement range, due to the high incidence angle on the second rotor, resulting in turndowns of 120:1 on the smallest meter to 500:1 on larger meters. This exceptional flow range allows universal viscosity curves to blend over a 60:1 turndown range. This wide flow range often eliminates the need for more costly manifold systems.

Swirl effects on the leading rotor will have an opposite effect on the trailing rotor. Therefore, by summing (or averaging) both rotors, it will virtually cancel out rotor acceleration, eliminating the need for flow straighteners. With flow straighteners, the ratio of the two rotors can be monitored to determine bearing health. Reduced friction ceramic ball bearings, combined with a unique embedded pickoff system, impervious to vibration, make the Exact Dual Rotor design ideal for onboard vehicles, flight, and critical applications.

APPLICATIONS

• OEM flight and hydraulic component testing
• Precision industrial blending processes
• Engine test cells and test stands
• Precision flow monitoring
• On-board aerospace and automotive testing
• Custody transfer
• Correlation standards
• Flow Transfer Standard Master Meter
• Custom flight or industrial OEM packaging

QuikSert® In-Line Turbine Flow Meter

QuikSert® In-Line Turbine Flowmeter

The QuikSert in-line turbine flow meter was developed for liquid applications where accuracy and dependability are needed. QuikSert’s stainless steel body incorporates a helical turbine with a tungsten carbide shaft and bearing. It provides an efficient, long service life and a cost-effective solution for your measurement requirements.

Simple in design and construction, QuikSert uses modified upstream and downstream flow straighteners for a high degree of flow accuracy. Its between-the-flange design eliminates the need for mating flanges, requiring less space in the flow line, lowering costs for easy, one-man installation.

The meter produces a sine-wave signal proportional to its volumetric flow rate. With optional Blancett electronics, QuikSertprovides local flow rate and volume totalization and interfaces with most instruments, PLCs, and computers.

FEATURES

  • Accurate and repeatable flow measurement from 0.6…3 gpm (20…100 bpd) to 500…5000 gpm (17,000…171,000 bpd).
  • The unique between-the-flange design eliminates the need for mating flanges.
  • Superior materials of construction for high performance in aggressive environments.
  • Wafer-style mounting configurations for limited space requirements.
