The Project
Aaxis Nano Technologies supplied 138 Siemens SIMATIC PLC components to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited
(BHEL), SSTP Trichy, Tamil Nadu. The supply covered the S7-300 and S7-400 series, including CPUs, power
supplies, communication processors, interface modules, and digital and analogue input/output components.
Siemens SIMATIC PLC Component Range
The supplied range included standard, fail-safe and redundant CPU configurations, PS407 and PS307 power
supply modules, and communication processors such as CP 443-5 Extended, CP 343-1 and CP 340. The scope
also included interface modules for ET 200S and ET 200M systems, digital and analogue I/O modules, and
specialised function modules.
The Outcome
The completed supply provided BHEL SSTP Trichy with the specified Siemens SIMATIC PLC components across
processing, power supply, communication, interface and I/O functions. The project reflects Aaxis Nano
Technologies’ role in supplying industrial automation components for the facility.
